Hello, I'm Lisa.
I'm the photographer behind Lisa Bjornstad Photography, but before anything else, I'm a wife, a mom, and someone who knows just how quickly life changes. That's a big part of why photographs mean so much to me. My faith is an important part of who I am and how I approach my work.
Photography, for me, is about capturing people as they really are while still creating beautiful, timeless portraits you'll want hanging on your walls for years to come.
My sessions are a mix of posed portraits and natural, in-between moments. I'll guide you when you need it, help with posing so you never have to wonder what to do with your hands, and make room for the laughter, connection, and little moments that happen naturally along the way. I believe there's a place for both — because sometimes the perfectly posed photograph becomes a favorite, and sometimes it's the moment no one planned.
I photograph families, couples, seniors, weddings, and life's meaningful milestones. I especially love photographing outdoors, where every location and season brings something different to a session, but I also offer studio photography when it's the right fit for the session.
Most importantly, I want the people in front of my camera to feel comfortable and to leave with photographs that look like them, feel like them, and tell a piece of their story.
